Which coffee machines are suitable for your pods?

Simply use our pods the same way you would Nespresso® capsules. They work in all Nespresso® machines but unfortunetly, they cannot be used in built-in machines like Miele, Gaggia, Saeco and Siemans, nor in machines with a capsule holder.

If I use your pods is my warranty still valid?

Yes, your warranty on your machine is not dependent on what pods used and should be honoured by the manufacturer. If in doubt refer to the manufacturer’s warranty information supplied when you purchased your machine.

Will your pods damage my machine?

No, our pods have been developed to use exclusively in Nespresso® machines.

What is the shelf life of your pods?

If unopened our pods have a 12 month shelf life, there is a best before date on the packaging, but we don’t think they will last that long.

How many pods do I need to use to make different sized coffee’s?

Our pods and blends have been developed so you can enjoy a real espresso. We advise a 25ml coffee extraction per pod, you can extend to 40ml but that will change the flavour and the intensity and always remember to play until you find what you enjoy the most.

Our suggestion for a long black coffee is:

Fill the cup with as much hot water as you desire, then extract 1 pod into the hot water as normal. If you want more flavour and intensity extract 2 pods or even 3 pods if you are really hard-core.

Our suggestion for a milk coffee is:

1 x pod  (25ml extracted coffee) for 90ml of milk

2 x pods (50ml extracted coffee) for 180ml of milk

3 x pods (75ml extracted coffee) for 270ml of milk

4 x pods (100ml extracted coffee) for 360ml of milk

Are you affiliated with Nespresso®?

Nespresso® is a registered trademark of Société des Produits Nestlé S.A. and neither that company nor it’s affiliates have manufactured or endorsed our product or brand in any way. Pod Addiction Coffee Pty Ltd is not affiliated with Sociéte des Produits Nestlé S.A.

Do you add artificial flavouring to your pods?

Ah NO, Our coffee is 100% Speciality-grade Arabica beans and each blend has been developed to highlight the individual flavour profiles of each bean. The tasting notes of each blend will help you choose the one that is your favourite.

Who roasts your coffee?

We work with the skilled and passionate team at Little Goat Coffee, based in Sunbury Melbourne.

How do I dispose of my pods?

As the pods are biodegradable and compostable plant based material you can throw them into your compost bin or into the waste bin knowing that you are making less of an impact than regular coffee capsules.

Are your pods really biodegradable and compostable?

Yes our BioCap Pod Addiction pods are plant based & compostable, the secret lies in the material used in our plant-based pods. They are made entirely from sugarcane and sugar beet. This means that the complete pod, including the top film is made from plant materials. Under the right industrial set conditions they will fully break-down into compost in around 12 weeks.
